Shadow Security connects UK businesses with independent, SIA-licensed security professionals. Our purpose is to bring transparency, trust and efficiency to an industry that too often relies on word of mouth.
How the platform works
Shadow Security is a technology platform. It does not directly employ, supply or control any security officer. Every officer on the platform operates as an independent contractor. Shadow Security provides:
- A rigorous verification system for identity, SIA licences and right to work.
- A public directory of officers who have passed those checks.
- A booking and messaging platform for businesses and officers to work together.
- Ongoing monitoring of licence expiry and documentation validity.
Not a supplier or agency
Shadow Security is not a security services company. We do not supply, employ or dispatch officers. The commercial relationship for any booking is between the business and the individual officer. Our role is to verify credentials and provide the tools that make working together straightforward.
